We believe in the power of giving and the importance of nurturing the well-being of women and children in our community. Our Annual Pamper Day is a special event dedicated to pampering and empowering women and children who have survived domestic violence, providing them with a day of self-care, community, and joy.
How You Can Help
There are four ways you can contribute to the success of our Annual Pamper Day. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, is deeply appreciated.
The safe house currently houses 6 women and their 10 children.
💸 Monetary Donations
Your financial support helps us cover essential costs for the event. You can make a secure online donation by clicking the monetary donations link above.
🎁 Gift Donations
Each family residing in the safe house receives a Christmas gift, which makes this time of year even more meaningful.
Sample gift items include:
Toiletries, beauty products, comfort items, clothing, accessories, self-care kits, books/journals, cozy wear (robes, socks, slippers), wellness products, gift cards, hair care tools and gift cards.
🍽 Food Donations
We also provide the residents and our volunteers with refreshments and a home-cooked meal on Christmas Day, making it a time of warmth, comfort, and shared connection.
Sample food items include:
Rice, pasta, canned or fresh vegetables, poultry (chicken or turkey), rolls or bread, macaroni and cheese, stuffing, green beans, yams, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, salad mixes, bottled water, juice boxes, soda, iced tea, fruit trays, chips, cookies, pies, cakes, disposable plates, utensils, napkins, cups
💇🏾 Hair Supplies Donations
To support our pampering services, we also accept donations of hair supplies to help cover the cost of styling and treatments for the residents.
Sample hair items include:
Wigs, extensions, braiding hair, hair oil, gel, perm, shampoo, conditioner, drying towels
